Ausangate, one of highest peaks in the Peruvian Andes. Photo taken from a 16,000 ft pass above Finaya. a remote town at the end of a 5 hour jeep road up from Sicuani. This picture won a first prize in competition the Luminous Landscape web site. 2000.
